Fully-diluted market cap (FDMC) = price x max supply. If max supply is null, FDMC = price x total supply. if max supply and total supply are infinite or not available, fully-diluted market cap shows N/A.
Kaspa operates as a proof-of-work (PoW) cryptocurrency that leverages the GHOSTDAG protocol. Unlike conventional blockchains, GHOSTDAG facilitates the coexistence and consensus ordering of blocks created in parallel, rather than orphaning them. This unique approach transforms the Kaspa blockchain into a blockDAG. By extending Nakamoto consensus, Kaspa ensures secure operations while achieving exceptionally high block rates. Currently, the network generates one block per second, with aspirations to reach 10 blocks per second, and ambitions of achieving 100 blocks per second, although such numbers are aspirational and not yet realized. Furthermore, confirmation times are greatly reduced, primarily dictated by internet latency. Kaspa's implementation boasts several noteworthy features. These include Reachability, enabling queries of the DAG's topology, Block data pruning with imminent plans for block header pruning, as well as SPV proofs. Additionally, there are plans for subnetwork support in the future, which will facilitate the implementation of layer 2 solutions with greater ease.
