MDEX, introduced in January 2021, is a novel decentralized trading protocol. Operating as an automated market-making (AMM) decentralized exchange protocol, MDEX functions on the premise of fund pools, sharing some similarities with traditional DEXs. However, it distinguishes itself from competitors through its utilization of a dual-chain model, leveraging both the Ethereum network and the Huobi Ecological Chain (HECO). This unique approach grants MDEX access to liquidity within the Ethereum ecosystem. As a trading platform integrated with HECO, MDEX offers token swaps at an estimated cost of $0.001 per trade, boasting a transaction speed of three seconds.
