In the realm of Illuvium, players encounter creatures known as Illuvials, which they can capture by triumphing over them in battle and subsequently nurturing them back to full vigor. Once tamed, these Illuvials become faithful additions to the player's collection, available for deployment in battles against fellow adventurers in Illuvium's auto battler gameplay. Blending elements of open-world exploration with PvP (Player versus Player) combat, Illuvium provides players with the option to delve into vast expanses of the game world or focus on assembling a formidable team of creatures. Since its inception in 2020, Illuvium has been under development by a global team comprising over 40 individuals, notably including co-founders Kieran Warwick, a seasoned entrepreneur and early cryptocurrency advocate, and Aaron Warwick, a seasoned game designer, who incidentally are siblings.
