Acala is constructing the foundational liquidity layer for web3 finance, designed to be robust and sustainable. Its objective is to establish infrastructure for HyFi (DeFi+CeFi) solutions incorporating both crypto and real-world assets. Acala introduces a Universal Asset Hub encompassing multichain liquid staking token (LST) protocols (such as liquid DOT - LDOT), a decentralized exchange powered by automated market makers (AMM), and an application platform that is EVM-compatible and highly customizable (leveraging Substrate technology). Secured by Polkadot, Acala serves as the liquidity gateway for Polkadot parachains and L1/L2 blockchains.
