JUST is a newly popular decentralized finance (DeFi) ecosystem tailored for the TRON blockchain, offering a comprehensive suite of products, primarily anchored around the decentralized stablecoin lending platform named JustStable. Launched in August 2020 post an initial exchange offering (IEO) on the Poloniex LaunchBase platform earlier that same year, the platform's native governance token (JST) has been in circulation since May 2020. The ecosystem operates on a dual-token system involving USDJ and JUST (JST) tokens. USDJ, a multi-collateral stablecoin, maintains its value pegged to the US dollar (USD), while JST serves various functions within the platform—such as paying interest, aiding in platform maintenance and governance, and contributing to parameter settings like interest rates (stability fees) and the minimum collateralization ratio. To acquire USDJ on JUST, traders are required to deposit collateral in the form of supported collateral tokens—including TRON (TRX)—which are exchanged for PTRX tokens and locked as collateral, forming a collateralized debt position (CDP). Based on the deposited collateral, users can then generate and withdraw USDJ, which must later be repaid to retrieve the initial collateral.
