DODO is a decentralized finance (DeFi) protocol and on-chain liquidity provider known for its unique proactive market maker (PMM) algorithm, which is designed to enhance liquidity and price stability compared to traditional automated market makers (AMMs). The PMM pricing mechanism, inspired by human trading behavior, utilizes oracles to fetch highly precise market prices for assets. It then offers liquidity near these prices to stabilize the portfolios of liquidity providers (LPs), minimize price slippage, and mitigate impermanent loss by facilitating arbitrage trading as a reward. Additionally, DODO supports new cryptocurrency projects by offering a complimentary Initial DODO Offering (IDO) listing, where issuers are only required to deposit their own tokens. DODO's smart contract operates as an ERC20 token on the Ethereum network.
