WAX (WAXP), introduced in 2017, is a specialized blockchain engineered to streamline e-commerce transactions, ensuring speed, simplicity, and security for all involved parties. Utilizing delegated proof-of-stake (DPoS) as its consensus mechanism, the WAX blockchain is fully interoperable with EOS. Tailored features and incentive mechanisms developed by WAX aim to enhance the blockchain's functionality, particularly for e-commerce applications, by fostering engagement in proposal voting.
