Prior to founding Stratis, Trew's expertise lay in enterprise information technology. Self-taught in the programming language C#, he amassed a decade of experience in various IT capacities across sectors such as legal, aviation, public services, and finance, including stints at Barclays. Additionally, he operated an internet marketing and search engine optimization venture. Within the crypto and blockchain realm, Trew contributed as a volunteer developer for the cryptocurrency initiative Blitz and the social networking platform The Viral Exchange.
